About ask-amac
ask-amac is a multilingual New York City travel assistant built and run by Blue Sail Technologies. Type or speak a question about New York and it answers in the language you used, whether you ask in English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish or Ukrainian.
Behind the answers is a hand-picked knowledge base of 60 places across the five boroughs, a guide to each borough, day plans with the subway worked out, and a list of what's on this week that is refreshed daily. There is no account to create and nothing to pay.
Every visitor message is safety-screened before the AI sees it, speech is transcribed on hardware we own, and the AI that writes each answer runs on our own private platform.

How AI is embedded
Every answer is written by our own AI model, running on hardware we own. Before it answers, ask-amac safety-screens the message and pulls matching places and events from a New York knowledge base. Voice questions are transcribed on the same hardware. The same model also translated the site into its 7 other languages, with automatic quality checks before anything was published.
